3-days Training


iSMA Products powered by Sedona is the first step training for everyone who’s stepping in to the iSMA products world. During the training you will get the knowledge about iSMA products range and how use them the most efficiently. You will find out how the Sedona environment works and acquire your Sedona Framework programming skills. After the training you will be able to take full advantage of the AAC20 and FCU controllers.

Organizational conditions

iSMA Products powered by Sedona (iSMA-B-TC-SVM) – 3day training at GC5 headquarters or on-line: introduction to the Sedona Framework environment. Programming and kit development for AAC20 & FCU controllers range. GC5 provides fully equipped training case (iSMA-B-DEMO-SVM-KIT) and PC with an essential software. In case of the on-line training the training kit should be purchased by the participant. The remote class lab should meet all requirements described in “GC5 on-line training guide “. When the training is complete, each participant receives the certificate of completion.

Day 3

  • Introduction to Comfort Management Solution by iSMA
  • FCU Updater and software bundle
  • FCU Programming app, Local IO and NV network components
  • FCU Modbus Async Network
  • FCU application
  • Master – Slave in BACnet communication
  • AAC20 BACnet Remote MSTP Network
  • Exam

Main rules of the on-line training process:

Basic requirements

The training is organised on a prior order only and consists of 2 parts:

  • iSMA Products powered by Sedona (iSMA-B-TC-SVM) – 3day training
  • iSMA Products powered by Niagara (iSMA-B-TC-N4-ADV) – 5day training

To participate in the second step training the first step training must be completed.
All participants must be provided with training cases.
The connection, hardware and software tests have to be performed at least 5 days before the training.

The remote laboratory must meet the following requirements:

Internet connection

Good internet connection, at least 4 Mbps/2 Mbps [download/upload]

Operation system

A computer with a freshly installed operating system (the training is supported by Microsoft Windows 10, Windows 8.1 Enterprise, 2012 R2 Standard)

Two monitors

Each computer should have 2 monitors or a separate computer should be used to display the instructor window

TeamViewer program

TeamViewer software should be installed on the Workstation computer (computer with Niagara Supervisor software)

External camera

At least one external camera per student should be used, with two cameras recommended (two external or one external and one built-in)

Same network

All students must be in the same place. Their computers and training kits should be connected to the same network (the same switch; the switch is not included in the training kit)

Network

All computers should be connected to the Internet - it is recommended that computers have two interfaces: - Ethernet for training networks and a second Ethernet or WiFi for internet connection.
